TNF: Tennessee Titans at the Jacksonville Jaguars

Week Three’s Thursday night’s football matchup comes through the 1-1 Titans taking on the 0-2 Jaguars in Florida.

Both sides enter this one, off losses and Jacksonville look the weaker of the two going into the game with their start QB out, questions about the Head Coach and the future of star CB Jalen Ramsey looking uncertain.

The Titans enter the game off a hard-fought loss against the Indianapolis Colts where on offence the two went toe to toe till the end with the Colts snatching it towards the end. The Titans don’t have many issues but aren’t particularly a team to catch the eye either. Look for RB Derrick Henry to be key for the Titans to break down this strong defence of Jacksonville.

The Jaguar’s go into this one with lots of questions. In their last game they put on a strong defensive performance against the Houston Texans losing only by a point but that isn’t where the issues lie. A spat between Head Coach Doug Marrone and star player Jalen Ramsey has been in the headlines and led to Ramsey requesting a trade from the team. He will play tonight but it will probably be his last game. Along with this starting QB Nick Foles s out and it will be down to backup Gardner Minshu II to get things going, he’s looked okay in past games, he’ll need to continue tonight.

Like last year this game could easily be a low scoring affair, it really is Marcus Mariota vs the Jacksonville defence. With all that’s going on at the Jaguars I still see them putting in a good defensive performance, but they won’t get over the line, I’ve got Tennessee taking this one, but only by three points.
