Super Bowl LVII Preview

The NFL season comes to a close with Super Bowl LVII in Arizona tonight, as the Kansas City Chief’s take on the Philadelphia Eagle’s in a battle of the number one seeds.

The Chief’s travel to the south after dominating the AFC, despite MVP Patrick Mahomes high-ankle sprain. Kansas City took out the Cincinnati Bengals in a tight Championship game to book there third SB in the last five years.

Despite coming in hot, Mahomes will have his work cut out against this Eagles defence, he will need to get the running game going through Isaiah Pacheco, and lean on his always faithful Travis Kelce, to get the ball down the field.

Mahomes and co will also be hoping that All-Pro, Chris Jones can continue from his first-ever post-season sack and break down that offensive line of the Eagles. Defensive play and stopping the Philadelphia run game could be key on the way to a championship.

As for the Eagles, they sit upon a stacked defence. SB winner Brandon Graham is still on top form, and backed by sack-leader Haason Reddick makes a stout front-line. You add a secondary stud like Darious Slay, and you have one scary defence.

On offence, underdog leader, Jalen Hurts has taken Philly to new level, utilising the run game and getting the ball to new-boy AJ Brown, has created a high-octane, punch you in the mouth, offence.

Both teams are stacked, on both sides of the ball. The likelihood is an end-to-end all out battle, but I have the Chiefs taking this one, purely on experience, but one things for sure, we-re in for a good one.
